Creamy Chicken Alfredo Recipe

7 Mins read
  • Chicken Alfredo is perfect for a weeknight dinner: Super juicy pieces of chicken in a smooth and creamy, extra cheesy alfredo sauce.

Creamy Chicken Alfredo is a classic and indulgent dish that is loved by many. Its rich and velvety sauce combined with tender chicken and pasta creates the perfect comfort food. However, making this dish can sometimes be a bit challenging. To help you achieve the best results, here are some tips for creating a delicious and creamy Chicken Alfredo that will have your loved ones begging for more.

First and foremost, choosing the right ingredients is crucial. Opt for quality chicken breast that is boneless and skinless. This ensures that the chicken remains tender and juicy when cooked. Additionally, using fresh herbs, such as parsley or basil, can add a burst of flavor to the dish. Freshly grated Parmesan cheese is also preferred to achieve a smoother texture.

Another important tip is to cook the chicken separately from the sauce. This allows the chicken to brown evenly and develop a nice crust, while preventing it from becoming overcooked or drying out. Once cooked, set the chicken aside and proceed with making the Alfredo sauce. The sauce should be made with butter, garlic, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. To ensure a creamy consistency, make sure to cook the sauce on low heat and stir continuously until the cheese is fully melted.

Lastly, it is important to remember not to overcook the pasta. Cooking the pasta al dente, which means it still has a slight bite to it, will help prevent the pasta from becoming mushy when mixed with the sauce. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and immediately add it to the sauce, allowing it to absorb the flavors and combine well.

With these tips in mind, you can create a creamy and delicious Chicken Alfredo that will impress both yourself and your loved ones. Remember to take your time and enjoy the process, as cooking with love is always the secret ingredient to any successful dish.

Are you in this mega fan club? What do you buy there? And why? If you are in the Twin Cities like me… did you know they have a newly renovated Roseville location? Um, yeah.

Don’t reach for one right away.

At first, I was going to do my basic tahini dressing, but then the thought of a basil dressing came t0 mind so I switched it up.

It’s a simple mix of basil pesto, tahini, and lemon. I also added a splash of red wine vinegar. The tahini makes it extra creamy and the pesto adds that herby, garlicky flavor. And when you toss it all together with the crispy chicken?

The classic chocolate chip cookie can do no wrong and only makes life better, happier…and much more satisfying. I know you know what I’m talking about, cookies are just GOOD. I’m not sure why, but I’ve really been on a HUGE cookie kick this year. Maybe it’s because most are easy to make. Or maybe it’s because cookies bring back the best memories for me. Or maybe it’s just because the world simply needs more cookies this year. Either way, I’m loving cookies.

It’s a simple mix of basil pesto, tahini, and lemon. I also added a splash of red wine vinegar. The tahini makes it extra creamy and the pesto adds that herby, garlicky flavor. And when you toss it all together with the crispy chicken?

I’m excited to share these with you guys!! Especially because it’s no secret that when it comes to breakfast recipes, more times than not, I’m going to share something on the sweeter side. It’s not that I don’t love a savory breakfast recipe, because I do. It’s more that I enjoy sweet breakfast recipes in the morning and savory eggs for lunch or dinner…but that’s just me! Anyway, the point is, I rarely share savory breakfast recipes, so I’m overly excited to share these eggs.

How cute are these egg boats? When I set out to make these, I really wasn’t sure how they would turn out. But I ended up loving the recipe! Sometimes I go into a recipe being very unsure about it. But it’s the best when I’m presently surprised by the outcome…just love when that happens! And, these boats couldn’t be easier to make or more delicious.

– 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
– Salt and pepper to taste

2. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the chicken broth, heavy cream, and fettuccine pasta to the skillet. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked al dente, about 10-12 minutes.

5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to coat it with the creamy alfredo sauce.

My kitchenAid stand mixer gets used at least twice a week. I've shredded meat in there, made cakes, mashed potato, whipped cream, kneaded dough, and so much more. I received the stand mixer for my birthday after wanting one for years but being put off by the price. After a few weeks of using it I went out and bought some attachments and they are all fantastic. I can't live without my 3 piece pasta roller and cutter. The stainless steel meat grinder and the fresh prep slicer all get used regularly and my family is much healthier because of it.
